About DBI

The Drug Burden Index (DBI) is a pharmacological risk assessment tool that measures an individual's exposure to anticholinergic and sedative medications. Higher DBI scores are associated with increased risk of falls, fractures, and cognitive decline in older adults.

How to Use

Select a patient from the dropdown
Toggle drugs to include/exclude from calculations
Use date range filter to focus on specific periods
Customize risk bands in the collapsible section
View charts, export data, or check console logs

Risk Bands

Low (Green): 0-0.2 (default)
Moderate (Yellow): 0.2-0.8 (default)
High (Orange): 0.8-1.2 (default)
Very High (Red): >1.2 (default)
